If we're being honest, I don't have the energy to make a new set. So yes, there is breakfast all over the place /but/ this is the interview set.
Thursday 6- D Magazine wants to interview the stars of the new reality show. Be sure to answer carefully, Roslyn Taylor is known for tricking interviewees into saying things they regret.
Roslyn was the closest thing I had to an enemy. She was a leech. We worked together closely, and we had a mutual dislike for each other.
I wasn't worried about that.
"Stella, right," a young woman said to me.
"Yes. Carlie, I remember," I told her. We had met at brunch. She had one heck of a story, but still seemed like a nice girl.
"Are you nervous she asked me?"
"Nervous isn't the word I would use," I informed her, twirling a strand of hair. She smiled.
"Wish I could say the same." We continued chatting until her time came. I scooted over a seat to Willa- I think her name was Willa. She was texting discretely.
"Oh, hey Stella," she greeted.
"Good to see you again." She didn't take her eyes of her phone. "Busy?" I asked her. I found it especially rude when you used your phone when talking to someone. But I wasn't going to point that out.
"Oh," she said, becoming self conscious. "No, no. How are you feeling today?" That seemed to be a common questions between pregnant women. Between the morning sickness, the moodiness, the cravings and just the general confusion of what was happening to our bodies, "How are you feeling?" was a question that had a litany of responses, all over the chart.
"Alright. Moody."
"I understand that," she responded, with a gentle chuckle. "This is just a vexing process."
"It really is," agreed I. "But it'll all be worth it when we are holding our bundle of joys, right?" She kind of squinted and looked away, before giving me a quiet nod. I had no idea what was up with her. I decided that the conversation had been sufficently awkward and meandered over to Saffron. I liked her, but as with the other girls, she gave me weird vibes.
"How did your interview go?" She sighed.
"She asked me a lot of questions about my health problems. And how I feel about bringing a child in the world with the risk..." I patted her shoulder.
"Calm down. She can be a b.itch. But that's what D magazine pays her for." Saffron laughed.
"I guess you're right." Carlie came out.
"She wants you, Stel."
Well. Here we go.
